Guinea-Bissau – Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (CTN/CEE)

C.E.E. (Electronic Loading Certificate / Certificado Electronico de Embarque) – República da Guiné-Bissau. According to the decree issued on 01/03/2013 by the Shippers' Council of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau and Portugal's S.C.C. (Conselho Nacional de Carregadores da Guine-Bissau – CNC-GB) and S.C.C. Lda, effective from 01/04/2013, all cargo destined for ports of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau (Port of BISSAU) or arriving in the territory of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau via transshipment ports must be accompanied by a C.E.E. Electronic Loading Certificate. From that date, the C.E.E. replaces the previous E.C.T.N. document and becomes the only valid document for customs clearance in the Republic of Guinea-Bissau. The C.E.E. Electronic Loading Certificate is a mandatory document for customs clearance procedures in the Republic of Guinea-Bissau. The C.E.E. cannot be applied for at the destination port. Failure to obtain it may result in the shipping line at the port of loading being unable to issue the Bill of Lading, or the consignee at the destination being unable to clear customs. One C.E.E. corresponds to one Bill of Lading, and the information on the C.E.E. must be consistent with the Bill of Lading.

Note:
** The C.E.E. certificate must be processed before the shipping line issues the original ocean Bill of Lading.
** The validated original C.E.E. certificate (PDF format) will be emailed to the applicant, who should then forward this original certificate to the destination consignee and the shipping line, etc.
