Liberia – Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (LIBERIA-CTN / ACD / ENS)

Liberia – Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (LIBERIA-CTN / ACD / ENS)
Liberia ACD/LIBERIA ACD: ACD stands for Advanced Cargo Declaration System. It is an import pre-declaration system implemented by Liberia to enhance destination port clearance procedures and strengthen supervision over import and export cargo, similar to the currently implemented Sierra Leone ACD, Guinea ICTN, and Nigeria CTN.
For cargo destined for the port of Monrovia in Liberia, effective March 1, 2019 (date of arrival at the destination port), the Liberian authorities will begin enforcing new CTN/BSC regulations. Shipping lines MSC and CMA have already issued notices reminding all shippers/booking agents that the CTN/BSC number must be provided on the bill of lading instructions. The CTN/BSC number must be applied for by the shipper/booking agent! Any liability, risks, or costs arising from incorrect, omitted, or erroneous numbers shall be borne by the shipper or booking agent.
Liberia Cargo Pre-Declaration CTN/ACD/ENS
Liberia CTN/LIBERIA CTN: CTN stands for Cargo Tracking Note, a general term for a customs clearance document required for imports by most African countries. In Chinese, it is referred to as a cargo tracking note. Simply put, it achieves the cargo tracking effect of a CTN through the ACD import pre-declaration system.
Liberia ENS/LIBERIA ENS: ENS stands for Entry Summary Declaration. Translated into Chinese, it means an entry summary serial number. Simply put, after applying for the Liberia ACD, the approving authority assigns a unique tracking note number to the shipment, which the customer provides to the shipping line and consignee for display on the bill of lading and other customs clearance documents.
Scope of Liberia ACD/ENS/CTN Application:
Monrovia CTN Monrovia ACD Monrovia CTN Monrovia ACD
